 I wore this outfit out to a birthday dinner.  I wasn't sure about the attire so I chose to stay in the middle; not too dressy or too casual.  I chose the shoes first, so it was only right that I play off the gold detail and carry the gold clutch (which also is appropriate for a night outing) and a gold playful necklace.  The jeans were next because the material fit a good cross between dress pants and regular ruff jeans.  Instead of wearing a color on top, I chose to stay neutral because I wanted to rock a red lip.  Finally, this lace blazer adds texture and makes the look chic!  Without it, I would look too plain!

Planning the relaunch of xoxoTiffany.com this weekend!  I spoke with a friend of mine awhile back, and tried to explain what I my goals were, but I ended up confusing him and myself!  I have too many goals spread out among different industries; however, the common denominator is ME!  I would only be cheating myself if I just choose one field to focus on, so why not combine them all within xoxoTiffany?  The new website will include not just my daily fashion and beauty posts, but it will also have entries related to the entertainment industry, business and entrepreneurship, as well as maintaining a positive and progressive lifestyle.  For all of my fashion readers, I promise to bring you bigger, better, and more frequent posts just for riding this style wave with me!  Look out for more photos and even videos as I take xoxoTiffany.com to the next level!

I got out just in time for the sunset to take these photos!  I actually wore this button up and vest to my 9-5 with a pencil skirt and pumps.  But, to get ready for a night out, I changed into some jean shorts and statement heels.  This is pretty casual night look for me.  The shirt is oversized so to add some shape, I chose to go with this vest.  Before I chose the shorts, I paired the shoes and thought of only 2 things that would go great; a pair of leggings or shorts.  I chose the latter because it fit the season and overall mood of the evening best :)

Life will always have its challenges - you can either do one of two things about it; take things as they are given to you and blame the world for your situation or you can take responibility for your circumstances and change the course. 

I haven't been able to get the perfect crop top yet so I took the tips from my Scarf Lookbook and made a crop top with a scarf!  I love the essence of the 1950's so I try to emulate that in my wardrobe as much as possible.  These jeans were actually my 1st splurge item.  I got them my freshman year from Urban Outfitters for $75!  I still have buyers remorse about it because I was in no position as a freshman eating Ramen noodles to spend that much on 1 pair of jeans!  But they have held out well over the years and tie in with my 50's admiration quite well :) Whenever I wear a tight bottom and a tight top, I like to balance it with an over-sized piece to tone down the sexiness, because my shape already says enough!

Searching for the perfect outfit for an audition has its challenges.  You want the casting directors to see you in the part, so picking the right look is crucial!  It may mean the difference between you getting the part or the opportunity passing you by!  I'm preparing to film an audition video for a big network show and I went back and forth with myself with what I should wear!  I wanted my look to show my personality- it's the 1st time they get to see who I am and I want it to be a true reflection!  But at the end of the day all this back and forth has delayed my audition tape submission!  So finally, I found the perfect ensemble!

I love a bottom that accentuates my frame!  This pencil skirt is the perfect blend of edgy and classy!  I used to be that girl with 90% black in my closet, but I'm starting to love my pops of color!  This neon chiffon blouse balances my smaller chest and off sets the fitted skirt on my curvy frame!  I'm bringing home the gold in honor of the Olympic team with a gold clutch and necklace!  The peep toe pumps, again brings it back to the sophistication of a woman and gives the look an overall Monroe 50's vibe!  This look came together amazingly!  I can't wait to share the footage with you all!
